*In life's darkest moments, music has the power to light the way, and for me, that guiding light came in the form of seven remarkable souls known as BTS. Their music didn't just fill my ears; it mended my heart, lifted my spirit, and ignited my dreams. Join me on a journey of self-discovery and self-love, all thanks to the incredible influence of BTS.*

**Discovering BTS: A Lifeline in the Pandemic**

It all began with the electrifying beats of "Mic Drop" and the enchanting melodies of "Boy with Luv." Little did I know that these songs would be my introduction to BTS, a group that would change my life forever. Yet, it wasn't until the "Dynamite" era, amidst the chaos of the pandemic and personal turmoil, that their music truly embraced my soul.

During those dark days, when I felt lost and alone, BTS's music found me. Their upbeat tunes became the anthem to my mornings, infusing positivity and joy into my life when I needed it the most. With my mother's health deteriorating and everything crumbling around me, BTS became the friends who understood me, the voices that cheered me on, and the hand that reached out to hold mine.

**A Symphony of Emotions: BTS's Impact on My Heart**

Choosing a favourite BTS song? Well, that's like asking me to pick a favourite star in the night sky; it depends on the mood and the moment. "Spring Day" provided solace during the loss of my grandmother, reminding me that no season, no matter how dark, is eternal. "Zero O'clock" served as a beacon of hope on my darkest days, inspiring me to carry on. "Magic Shop" whispered, "You're not alone," when loneliness threatened to consume me. "Yet to Come" reminds me that my best days are ahead, and "Epiphany" empowered me to love myself and break free from an awful relationship.

However, it's Suga's lyrics that resonate most deeply with me. His words in "Amygdala" mirror the pain I've carried, and his acknowledgment of childhood wounds struck a chord. In "People Part 2," he encapsulated my fear of trust with, "I wasn't loved enough as a child, so now I'm the cautious type."

**BTS: Healing and Liberation**

The most incredible gift BTS has given me is the reminder that I'm not alone in feeling "behind" in life. Their music inspires me to chase my dreams, and their journey of growth encourages me to heal and evolve. Just as Suga has transformed his anger into strength, I too am healing my old wounds, emerging as a more positive and understanding person.

Their lyrics are not just words; they're my lifeline. They've helped me cut ties with a toxic ex-boyfriend who belittled my dreams. The empowering message of "Epiphany" reminded me that I should love myself. That moment marked the end of a destructive relationship and the beginning of a new chapter, one where I prioritise self-love above all else.

**Inspirational Guides: BTS's Seven Stars**

Each member of BTS has been an inspiring guide on my journey. Jin taught me confidence, Suga showed me the strength in vulnerability, RM encouraged me to speak up and help others, J-Hope brightened my darkest days with optimism, Jimin taught me kindness, V showed me the beauty of authenticity, and Jungkook motivated me to always give my best.

Their lyrics, like those in "Forever Young," serve as constant reminders that I can overcome any challenge: "Even when I fall and hurt myself, I endlessly run toward my dream."

**A Family of ARMYs: Together, Never Alone**

BTS ARMY, a family of kindred spirits, is a testament to the warmth, support, and camaraderie that BTS fosters. Meeting fellow ARMYs, whether online or in person, instantly transforms strangers into family. We share a love for these seven incredible artists and walk the same path toward self-acceptance and growth.

**The Birth of "Who Said It Would Be Easy"**

As my connection with BTS and their music deepened, I discovered a passion for storytelling inspired by their creative energy. A dream sparked during a moment of inspiration, and "Who Said It Would Be Easy" was born—a story intertwined with my journey of healing and BTS's unwavering support. This story became a metaphor for how BTS stood by me during my darkest hour. They inspired a love story, and now, I'm a signed author.

**The Road Ahead: A Message of Love and Gratitude**

Through BTS and their music, I've learned to accept and embrace my flaws and qualities. I've met incredible people in the ARMY, raised my standards for how I should be treated, and developed a desire to help others. My future is brimming with possibilities, and BTS has shown me that hard work and authenticity can lead to boundless success.

This isn't just an adolescent infatuation or a fascination with Asian culture—it's my lighthouse guiding me home whenever I lose my way. They're the reason I can confidently say, "I love myself," and truly mean it. To BTS, especially Yoongi, who will soon embark on his military service, joining J-hope and Jin: thank you for being there, my guiding stars. I'll stand by your side till the end.

In the end, it's not just about music; it's about the transformation, inspiration, and love that can spring forth from the melodies and lyrics.

So, to those who question the depth of my connection with BTS, know this: They are more than music; they are my constant companions, my teachers, and my beacons of light in the darkest of nights.

For that, I will forever be grateful.

Until 2025,

Until winter ends and spring comes again,

I'll be here waiting.

- Emily.
